  • Just the way it is

    I was talking with someone today. The person was distressed about things that happened over the weekend, and needed someone to talk to. Its funny, because whenever we talk, I rarely talk.. But basically this person laid everything out: fears for friends, anger about their actions, and everything in between. But it hit me. The standards my friend held, the beliefs spoken. The person is very strong and bold, never being afraid to share Christ to others. Adamant in what is right, being a man and putting emotions aside when in tough situations. While my friend came to me for help.. seems like I received a lot of help instead.

    I know I'm very weak. Emotions can get to me even though it might not always be noticeable, and I really haven't been bold in my walk. I think without a shadow of a doubt that God's telling me to be bolder in my walk. And I will, only through Him of course. Through Him comes the transformation from the inside out. That's our walk.

    I'm happy for the conversation, its how God works y'know? Its just the way it is i guess

  • crucified



    Crucifixion means being fixed onto the cross. nailed, bound to it. basically stuck on it. When Jesus died, He took all of our sin, our hurt, our pain and was crucified. Stuck on that cross. While He died and rose again off of that cross, our hurt, our pain, our sin is still up on that cross. We're free from it, it can't stop us.

  • I dont care about who you were way back once upon a time. I care about who you are NOW, who you will BECOME. We all have our secrets and our pasts. Some darker than others. But who we are has nothing to do with it. We are children of God. It's not about our sin, but about Christ's deeds, His death, His resurrection. Let your old self go, that ain't you. We're loved, and we're saved. Love Him back.
